It's AMERICAN Idol

I am really annoyed about all of the recent outrage over the decision to replace Paula Abdul with Ellen Degeneres. What annoys me most however is that people are not outraged because they were devoted Paula Abdul fans, but rather they are outraged because Ellen Degeneres is gay. Yet everyone who is outraged fails to realize that it is AMERICAN Idol. Is America not based on freedoms that other countries lack? Freedom of speech, religion, and other rights that would be considered luxuries were it not America? So whether Ellens views are your views or not, people need to realize that living in America gives everyone the rights to their own views. If you don't like it than move elsewhere; maybe someplace a little more tyranical. It's almost 2010, grow up. As for me I cannot wait to catch season 10 this January!!!

My First Blog

Although I am not a huge blogger, I really like flash drives =). I have discovered by blogging, that I am far more interested in customizing my blog page, than posting the blog itself. But while I'm here I might as well get something off my chest. What happened to great customer service and nice waiters? The other day I was at AppleBees and my friends and I had to practically jump the waiter to get service. He didn't bring us our food, our silver ware, AND we had to ask management for our bill. The two times he did actually visit our table he was rude and apathetic. To make a long story short, stay away from AppleBees...Bob Evans is better!
